Since 1985, Archwood Building Company has been designing, renovating, and building homes. Within our renovations division, second- story additions and whole house renovations are our specialty. In fact, we have built more second-story additions then any other building company in Raleigh. Our objective, simply stated, is: A quality home with ecstatic homeowners living in it!

Our Philosophy
The majority of our business comes from referrals from past clients. We are keenly aware that prospective clients have numerous options when choosing a builder. We understand the value of your time and the importance of adhering to your budget. We are deeply committed to delivering quality workmanship and superior customer service. Exceeding your expectations is our number one priority.

To ensure a smooth building process for our clients and ourselves, we employ the following tools and resources:

Timely and clear communication—Ask about our client notebooks filled with information on your specific project.

Detailed statement of work and contract—These documents eliminate confusion and miscommunication.

Professional staff—You'll find our expert staff to be experienced, responsible, and enjoyable to work with.

Quality trade contractors—We hire only tradespeople who take pride in their work.

Thorough cost estimates—We set and adhere to a budget so that there are no cost surprises for you.

When your project begins, it is our goal that you understand:

What your finished home will look like.

The materials that your completed home will include.

The exact price of your project. We sign a fixed price contract.

The date that we will finish your home so that you can move in and enjoy!
