Archwood renovated it the first time around in 1995, when the owners were newly married with no children. Seven years later, the owners contacted us to renovate a second time, now that their family of two had grown to a family of five! This time we added a second-story addition and redesigned the home to facilitate a family-oriented lifestyle with the floor plan flowing freely between living spaces. Special features that add to the charm and originality of this home are a reconditioned-porcelain drain board sink in the kitchen, antique hardware, and hand-crafted, heart pine custom bookcases. This home is another great example of the beautiful and functional solutions available to homeowners who wish to keep their existing home but need to meet expanding needs.
